A $50.00 application fee applies to all registered food businesses submitting a temporary food stall licence application. Charitable organisations & community groups are not required to pay an application fee. If you require assistance with completing this form please contact Health Services on (08) 9168 4100.

Trestle table structures will only be approved where no cooking or food preparation is occurring and food is sufficiently protected from contamination.

A sketch of your Food stall is a mandatory requirement.  

Include the locations of the following:

·         Tables

·         Cooking equipment

·         Eskys

·         Hand washing and cleaning facilities

·         Service area

·         Waste disposal, and

·         Flow of food from raw to cooked       

Note: Where a food stall is erected on unsealed ground a suitable impervious material shall be laid over the ground area of the stall.

Food Hyigene

Hot foods to be kept above 60OC, cold foods to be kept below 5OC. A thermometer must be kept on-site for potentially hazardous food.

Food Hygiene:

It is mandatory to ensure that the following food hygiene requirements are met:

Hand washing Facilities:

  • Potable supply of water (i.e. a 20L container) provided for hand washing purposes
  • Container of sufficient volume provided to catch the waste water
  • Liquid soap and single use paper towel for hand washing and drying

Dish and Utensil Washing Facility:

  • Potable supply of water (i.e. a 20L container) provided for dish washing purposes
  • Container of sufficient volume provided to catch the waste water
  • Detergent and sanitiser for dishwashing

Food Handlers:

  • All the food handlers have the required skills and knowledge for the tasks that they perform
  • Food handlers are provided with disposable gloves and appropriate utensils for handling of food to minimise contamination
