Community Scorecard 2017 - Have Your Say!

Community members are invited to complete the 2017 Community Scorecard.  The Shire is keen to hear your views on local services and facilities and your ideas about how the local area can be improved.  This information will assist the Shire in planning for the future.

The Community Scorecard is being conducted on the Shire’s behalf by CATALYSE®, an independent research and strategic planning company.  All results will be dealt with in the strictest of confidence. 

The Community Scorecard is open to all members of the community aged 18 years or older.  Please complete one scorecard per person online by visiting  www.catalyse.com.au/studies  or by completing a paper scorecard; available from the Kununurra School and Community Library, Kununurra and Wyndham Shire offices.

A copy of the Community Scorecard is also being posted to all Shire of Wyndham East Kimberley Ratepayers.

The timeline for the Community Scorecard is as follows:

  • 14 March 2017 → 14 April 2017 - Community Scorecard Open - Have Your Say 
  • 14 April 2017 → 22 May 2017 - Analysis of Results
  • 22 May 2017 → 31 May 2017 - Report back to the Community

Revised Council Policy CP PMG-3780 Leasing of Council Managed Reserved Land

The revised Council Policy CP/PMG-3780, Leasing of Council Managed Reserve Land-Community is now open for public comment-closing 2 May 2017.

The purpose of the Policy is to provide a consistent approach to the leasing of facilities located on Council managed Reserves within the Shire of Wyndham East Kimberley. In reviewing the Policy, the Shire aims to further support the sustainability of community clubs and organisations who support the community’s wellbeing through their activities.

Wyndham Boat Ramp Upgrade Concept Designs - Invitation for Public Comment

The Shire of Wyndham East Kimberley has been successful in the Western Australian Government Recreational Boating Facilities Scheme: Round 21 Application for funding to investigate upgrade options for the Wyndham Boat Launching Facility, and invites comment on the proposed Wyndham Boat Ramp Upgrade concepts.

The Wyndham Boat Ramp Upgrade concept proposals are available for inspection online below or can be viewed at the Shire’s administration centres, located at 20 Coolibah Drive Kununurra and Koolama Street Wyndham, up to and including Friday 12 May 2017.
