Road Conditions

Kalumburu Road

With the recent heavy rains and some local flooding, the Kalumburu Road has been CLOSED  from the Gibb River Road to Drysdale Station as of 4pm, Wednesday 21 December 2011.  The section of Kalumuburu Road between Drysdale Station and Port Warrender remains CLOSED.  Caution must be exercised at all times. Flood ways and creek crossings may rise without notice; depths should be checked before crossing.

Port Warrender Road

CLOSED TO ALL VEHICLES, including to Mitchell Plateau/Falls.

King River Road

Presently OPEN to vehicles 3 Tonne and under, however caution must be exercised at all times. Flood ways and creek crossings may rise without notice; depths should be checked before crossing.
