The Shire of Wyndham East Kimberley

Is located in a picturesque and rugged sparsely populated northeast corner of Western Australia (WA) and is one of the world's last wilderness frontiers. As a global tourism attraction it is known for luxury accommodation, great food and friendly locals, and is an amazing and very unique part of Australia.


The Position

Reporting to the Kununurra Leisure Centre (KLC) Team Leader, this position works as part of the Leisure Centre Team ensuring a high level of aquatic and other fitness services are provided.


The role assists in the development and implementation of fitness and recreation programs and provides a high level of customer service whilst ensuring the maintenance of a healthy and safe environment for users and employees at the facility.


Other Requirements

The successful applicant will be required to submit a National Police Clearance (dated within 6 months), pass a pre-placement medical assessment and provide copies of qualifications (where relevant) in order to be eligible for the position.


The Shire would be willing to consider candidates who do not currently hold all of the qualifications at the time of applying, however must be willing to obtain them in the near future should they be successful in their application.
