The event will be a lovely evening at Ski Beach and included in the ticket price is delicious canapes, live music and a ticket into the door prize. Also on the night will be a bar, a silent auction and a raffle draw. The event is starting at 4:30pm so people can watch the stunning sunset over the water. All profits raised on the night from the bar, ticket price, silent auction, raffle and donations will go directly to the charities split equally. We hope to raise $10,000 for each charity.
The event organisers aim to create a welcoming community event where people know the funds raised are helping a great cause. They hope people with a cancer diagnosis see the event and feel supported by the community, and also hope to reduce some of the stigma surrounding diagnoses, particularly Lung cancer.
