The Shire of Wyndham East Kimberley's President, David Menzel, took his COVID-19 vaccination today at the Wunan COVID-19 Vaccination Clinic. Cr Menzel said it was important for him to take the COVID-19 vaccination for his health, family and community.
“I took the vaccine to ensure I can help protect myself, my family and my community from the risks of COVID-19,” said Cr Menzel, "I considered the risk of the vaccine minimal compared to the risk of not being vaccinated.'
The Shire President is urging everyone eligible to make an appointment to get the vaccination. “It’s a painless 20 minutes that will contribute to the wellbeing of the whole community”, said Cr Menzel.
- The Wunan Vaccination Clinic is open on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Eligible community members can now book online via the Wunan Health Facebook page or via their website.
- The Kununurra Hospital also has COVID Clinic open Monday to Friday.
