The Shire would like to advise that due to COVID restrictions in Malaysia, there will be a delay in receiving the waterslides to complete the Kununurra Water Playground. The works are now expected to be complete by Easter 2022, in time for the Ord Valley Muster.
Contractors are currently working on completing concrete pours for the floor tiles. Works on the plant room and ablution facilities are expected to commence this week.
The Shire wishes to apologise for the inconvenience. Despite the project being delayed, we are excited to be able to deliver this project to our community.
