The Shire of Wyndham East Kimberley proposes to lease a portion of the East Kimberley Regional Airport landholdings, part Lot 200 on Deposited Plan 66654, to the adjoining landowner Margret Conley for three years for the permitted purpose of cultivating crops.
The land has an area of 48 hectares. The Council has resolved $400 per annum (excluding GST) per hectare to be an accurate indication of the fair market value of the land as of 28 April 2018. Accordingly, the proposed lease will be subject to an annual lease fee of $19,200 plus GST, variable outgoings and subject to annual CPI rent reviews.
