Sidewalk Astronomy
Tuesday 30th April 2024
Sidewalk Astronomy is a free community event where the community is encouraged to come down and look through our telescopes and learn about moon, stars and planets.
They can peer through our telescopes and observe the night sky and ask our astrophysicists any questions they have about space and astronomy.
ICRAR is the only organisation that will be hosting this. The idea is to hold this on the town oval which is accessible to the community, and will have a clear view of the sky. The lights will not be turned on at the oval as we need it to be dark however we will have red lights forming a path for people to walk.
