Noise is not only annoying but can cause stress which ultimately impacts on health. Noise is regulated by theEnvironmental Protection (Noise) Regulations 1997 which specifies allowable levels of different types of noise. Various types of noise are regulated by different bodies.

Noise Monitoring
In some cases, the monitoring of noise levels may be necessary. The Shire is able to conduct noise monitoring if necessary.
