Corporate Business Plan adopted by Council

Council has adopted the Shire of Wyndham East Kimberley Corporate Business Plan 2021 – 2025, which sets out the services and projects to be resourced and delivered over the next five-year period.

Shire President David Menzel said the document is guided by the Shire’s Strategic Community Plan and Long-Term Financial Plan. It is the Shire’s five-year operational plan detailing services, initiatives and projects that will benefit the community.

“The Corporate Business Plan details the Shire’s intended achievements and priorities, how it will commit resources and measure success in meeting the needs of the community,” said David,

“The review of the document has considered and addresses the community’s priorities highlighted in the 2021 Community Scorecard Survey. Among the many projects listed within the Corporate Business Plan are initiatives to upgrade the Kununurra Leisure Centre, Wyndham (Clarrie Cassidy) Oval, road renewal, support and advocate for affordable housing and support local business.”

With the Integrated Planning and Reporting Framework now fully in place, the adopted Corporate Business Plan is testament to the skill, hard work and dedication of all Shire Officers involved.”

The Corporate Business Plan 2021 - 2025 was adopted at the Ordinary Council Meeting on 27 July 2021. A copy can be downloaded here, or hard copies are available in Shire Libraries and Administration buildings.
