The Federal Government is supporting small to medium-sized businesses in the North with a $100 million Northern Australia Development Program (NADP). Minister for Agriculture and Northern Australia David Littleproud said the program would assist Australian businesses who have taken the leap of starting a business in the North.
“Northern Australia is home to more than 96,000 businesses, so there is enormous growth,” said Minister Littleproud.
“These grants are an opportunity to transform an industry, create new jobs and secure the future of your business.”
Grants between $50,000 and $2 million will be available for small to medium enterprises, while larger businesses can access grants of between $3 million and $10 million.
Grant applications will open on 4 November 2021 and be awarded from February 2022. For more information or to access the Grant Guidelines, please contact the Business Grant Hub at business.gov.au or call 13 28 46.
