Fees and Charges

The Local Government Act 1999 section 188(6) allows the Shire to keep a list of fees and charges imposed under this Section and have it publically available.

The Shire of Wyndham East Kimberly imposes fees and charges in order to provide services that are essential to the community such as waste disposal, pet registration, recreation, community amenities, transport, and environmental services. They also administer laws and regulations to enable improvements to the services and facilities for the community.

Each year the Shire of Wyndham East Kimberley reviews and updates fees and charges and provides an annual schedule for all the services provided.

PUBLIC NOTICE

Notice Pursuant to Section 6.19 of the Local Government Act 1995

Notice is hereby given pursuant to Section 6.19 of the Local Government Act 1995 that the Shire of Wyndham East Kimberley intends to impose new Fees and Charges for the 2023-24 financial year.

The Shire of Wyndham East Kimberley’s Schedule of Fees and Charges for 2023-24 was adopted by the Council at the Ordinary Council Meeting held on 27 June 2023. These charges will take effect as of 1 July 2023, or in the case of some aerodrome fees and charges, 1 January 2024.
