Kununurra Aquatics offers swimming, exercise and water play, with accessible facilities for people of all ages and abilities.

 

50 metre pool

The 50-metre pool includes:

  • 8 × 50 metre lap swimming lanes
  • Ramp entry suitable for water wheelchairs
  • An accessible pool hoist
  • Retractable shade sails covering the pool.

 

Leisure pool and water play

The leisure pool and water play area includes:

  • 3 × 19 metre lanes for walking and light exercise
  • Learn to Swim Lagoon
  • Whirlpool
  • Toddlers' beach with water jets
  • Leisure beach with tipping buckets, water spinners and water jets
  • Beach entry suitable for water wheelchairs
  • An accessible pool hoist.

 

Accessible changing facilities

Changing Places facility

The Changing Places facility includes:

  • A mobile hoist
  • An adult-sized change table
  • Privacy screens
  • An accessible toilet
  • An accessible shower.

 

Universal accessible change room

The universal accessible change room includes:

  • Unisex and family changing facilities
  • A child change table
  • An accessible toilet
  • An accessible shower.

 

BBQs and pavilions

The facility has:

  • 2 BBQs available to reserve
  • 4 pavilions available to reserve.

 

Entry fees 

Children aged 0 to 4 years: Free 

Children aged 5 to 15 years: $5 

Adults aged 16 years and over: $7.50 

Concession Swim  $3 (Concession is available on production of proof of eligibility for concession including Disability Support Card and Seniors Concession Card)

Supervising adults who are not swimming: $3
