Volunteer Recognition 

The Shire is proud to recognise the incredible dedication of community members who have volunteered for a total of five and ten years. Our community thrives thanks to the countless hours given by volunteers across local organisations, events, and sporting clubs. To celebrate their contributions, recognised volunteers will receive a small token of appreciation, and everyone is invited to join our free community BBQ and recognition event, usually held in December.

In addition to this celebration, the annual “Thank a Volunteer Cruise” offers another opportunity to acknowledge and appreciate all volunteers, whether they are being formally recognised this year or simply giving their time to make our community stronger.
