In accordance with section 5.29 and 5.55 of the Local Government Act 1995, the Shire hereby gives local public notice of the availability of the Annual Report for 2017/18 and the Annual General Meeting of Electors.
The meeting will take place at 5:00pm on Wednesday 5 December 2018 at the Kununurra Council Chambers as per Council decision 115869 of the 30 October 2017 Ordinary Council Meeting.
The purpose of the meeting is for presentation of the Shire’s 2017/18 Annual Report which contains a report from Shire President David Menzel and CEO Carl Askew, Strategic Community Plan, Annual Financial Report and independent Auditor’s Report. The Annual Report was endorsed by Council at the October Ordinary Council Meeting.
Members of the public are welcome and encouraged to attend.
