The Shire of Wyndham East Kimberley encourages its community members to have their say at the 2019 Ordinary Council Election by postal vote, with the final day for voting the 19 October 2019.
Election packages are in your mailboxes now and can either be returned to the Western Australian Electoral Commission in the return envelope provided, or placed in one of the Shire’s Ballot Boxes. Ballot Boxes are located at the Kununurra and Wyndham Shire Administration Buildings and at the Kalumburu and Doon Doon Community Centres.
If you choose to deliver your package on Election Day, both the Kununurra and Wyndham Council Offices will be open as polling places on Saturday 19 October 2019 from 8.am to 6.pm.
If you have lost or damaged your election package, replacement packages can be obtained from the Kununurra or Wyndham Administration buildings.
The count of votes will commence at 6pm at the Chief Polling Place, Kununurra Council Chambers, 20 Coolibah Drive.
