The Shire of Wyndham East Kimberley will be undertaking modifications to improve how buses access East Kimberley College (formerly Kununurra District High School).
During the July school holidays, the current car parking bays located on Mangaloo Street will be modified to accommodate bus parking bays.
These works will take place 8 July to 12 July 2019. During works, Mangaloo Street will be closed to all traffic, with the exception of local traffic. There will be detours and traffic management in place.
We appreciate the community’s cooperation and apologise for any inconvenience while this essential work is undertaken.
East Kimberley College have advised that whilst there will be ‘Bus Only’ signage in place along Mangaloo Street at the beginning of Term 3, the new area will not be utilised until the second week of Term 3 (ie. Monday 29 July), to allow for staff and student training.
