The Shire would like to advise of the following road updates:
OPEN TO ALL TRAFFIC
Kalumburu Road from the Gibb River Road to the Port Warrender Road turnoff
OPEN WITH CAUTION
Kalumburu Road from the Port Warrender Road turnoff to Kalumburu, based off the below conditions:
- Open to high clearance 4wd vehicles to 5t.
- Use caution in areas where water is over the road.
- Use extreme caution for floodways and river crossings
REMAINS OPEN WITH CAUTION
Port Warrender Road from Mitchell Plateau turnoff to the Mitchell Plateau Airstrip based off the below conditions:
- Open to high clearance 4wd vehicles to 25t.
- Use caution in areas where water is over the road.
- Use extreme caution for floodways and river crossings
CAUTION: Fuel is limited north of Drysdale River Station. Please plan ahead, double-check availability, and carry adequate provisions before setting off.
