The State Government has announced a $12.5 million funding available under the latest Community Sporting and Recreation Facilities Fund (CSRFF) grants.

The grant is aimed to encourage more participation in sport and recreation through the development of basic infrastructures. Community groups can apply for grants for new or upgraded playing surfaces, change rooms, ablutions, and sports storage.

The State Government has also provided $10 million over four years to be invested in the new Club Night Lights Program (CNLP), providing financial assistance to community groups to develop sports floodlight infrastructure.

Applications for both programs are now open—links to application forms below. Please be advised that applications and supporting documents should be submitted to the Shire by 23 August 2021 for Council to endorse.

For more information or to submit an application to the Shire, please email mail@swek.wa.gov.au and address the inquiry/application to the Community Grants Officer.
