In response to yesterday’s weather conditions, the Shire of Wyndham East Kimberley would like to advise Kununurra residents that Shire staff have today begun a clean-up of fallen trees and debris. Shire Rangers will also be inspecting local roads, including the level over Ivanhoe Crossing.
To report any damage to properties, including flooding or fallen trees and branches that have damaged your home, please contact the State Emergency Service (SES) on 132 500.
Residents and visitors are also reminded that if you see a fallen powerline, stay at least 10 meters away and call Horizon Power immediately on 13 23 51.
